• North West MD scoops Businesswoman of the Year Award

    A North West woman has been named Businesswoman of the Year at a national award ceremony celebrating diversity.

    Henna Riaz, managing director of 360 Audit, scooped the prestigious award at the hotly contested British Muslim Awards.  

    Henna, ex-media lawyer, has taken the Warrington based royalty auditing business from strength to strength since inception five years ago, securing lucrative contracts with some of the world’s biggest licensors including Liverpool FC, BBC Worldwide, Nickelodeon, Turner and E1 Entertainment.  

    Last year alone, her business recovered more than £3bn in underpaid royalties.  

    The Businesswomen of the Year award recognises an exceptional individual who is not only an ambassador for women and ethnic minorities but an inspiration to all in the business world.  

    The award winners were announced at a celebration ceremony at the Chateau Imprey Hotel in the West Midlands.    Henna Riaz, managing director of 360 Audit, said:

    Established by ex-media lawyer Henna Riaz in 2010, 360 Audit services industries including music, entertainment, technology, pharmaceutical, sports and bio-technology, ensuring they are being correctly paid under their commercial licensing agreements. The business currently carries out audit programmes across the UK, Europe, Australia, USA, Latin America and South East Asia.
